Some things going on.

So Mark was waiting for a meeting the a week or so ago and decided he would climb the tree. As you can see below, Alex copied him. We had Mark's family here last Memorial Day weekend. Mark and Jon and Joseph climbed the tree again and made it to the top. We didn't do it with anyone else here, since these are the lighter of the boys. The other guys, I'm sure could do it, but our tree may not have looked as nice after.
Here is Grandma with Brigham, showing her something.
Lissie playing on the tramp with Grandpa. And that's all we got for pictures. Yes we were lame in taking pictures. We did have a blast however. Most everyone came up Saturday (except Mark's parents the night before0. We went to Big Juds, where my brother in law ate the whole hamburger and 1/8th. We went to the cave, we played games, outside, had lots of good food and enjoyed lots of company, celebrated a birthday etc. Danny and Haley were the only ones unable to attend for obvious reasons. We were so glad everyone came to visit us and hang out with us. The kids enjoyed playing immensely with their cousins and I think the only times they were apart was when we were sleeping. Thanks for all who came.
The next adventure we have done over the last few weeks is the garden. We rented a rotatiller and made our plot. We then found out our neighbors had one and we used theirs, which was better, and finished the job.
We planted corn, radishes, beets, and lettuce.
Then watered.
Yesterday we went and got a bunch of starters to go in our garden. Alex and Brigham digging holes.
Lissie following suit.
Just like Dad. We are excited- we have lots of tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers and for the kids sake, tried one watermelon ;0). We are excited and hope to have some fruits from all of this.

Another congrats Danny and Haley!!

We, except for Mark, missed this wedding as well. But this is my brother in law and his wife who were married on Tues May 20. We're excited for you guys as well.
P.S. Look at the other 2 posts below, for Katy's wedding. I did these in order of happening, and did it all at once. (I'm trying to stay chronologically correct).

If we were there, what we would've worn...

The Happy couple.
The kids and I..
Again...
The family....
A copy of one of the pictures taken at the wedding..
Ohhhh.

So there you have our partying. Congrats again Katy and Micah...

Our Wedding Party

This is my sister Katy, and brother-in-law, Micah. They got married on Saturday May 10.
Since we weren't able to travel to my sister, Katy's wedding, my mom sent us a party box to be a "part" of the wedding. This is when we opened it. The kids loved their head attire and they ate some of the candy.

This is us celebrating with spartking cran apple cider, Yum. The boys kept saying, Mom we don't drink coffee. We told them that we wouldn't serve them something like that. They finally got that it was kind of like a soda mixed with juice. Here's Alex.
Here's Brigham.
Here's Lissie.
Mark...
And me. A little scary. We'd been working this day so no makeup or hair done. But I am sporting one of her colors!!!

Then we blew bubbles. So fun.
Here we go again. The wind blew the bubbles away too fast to capture them in the picture.

Anyways....congrats Katy and Micah. We are excited for you guys and glad Micah's joined the family. We wish you the best on this wonderful journey.

We've had a couple of visits

My brother, Bryce and his wife, Lisa and little girl Sophie came and visited us! It was fun to see them. The kids were so excited and immediately attacked Sophie and Bryce. Sophie was probably overwhelmed the first little bit, but by the end before they left, she followed them around the house. Elisabeth was happy to share her toys, and since it was a girl who wanted to play with them she was just fine with it. Here are the kids saying bye.
Hugs.
Kisses... They weren't able to stay to long because they had to head off to Bryce's internship. It took longer for them because of road closures due to snow (who would of thought in May?) so hopefully they were able to get their key. We were really happy they came to visit and talk with them.

A couple weeks before that, Mark's parents and brother came to visit. The kids were excited for this as well. They keep wanting to see Grandma and Grandpa, but our visits to them have been cancelled for one reason or the other.

We went to this lava hike thing. It was really fun. It was a little nerve racking for me because there were cracks all over and the kids are daring, but it was fun.
They then treated us to lunch. This is the icecream we got. Yum. 15 scoops. Its called the hungry heifer. It was cheeper then getting cones for everyone.
I did enjoy it... the whole thing(hee hee)
I had quite the tummy ache afterwards. :0). We were so happy they came to visit. Now we just have to make it down to see everyone down there. Unfortunately my doctor says no traveling until after the baby's born. I have less than 6 weeks and can't leave an hour from home. So I miss 2 sibbling weddings :(. It may be a good thing not to travel though as last night I was having slightyly harder contractions. Maybe I'll actually have the baby early, but who knows. I however would prefer not to have a baby in the NICU.
So thanks for all the visits, which helped with my sanity after this LONG LONG winter, and hopefully we'll get to see more family later!

Molly and Snow

IT has been a while since I posted anything. I have tried a few times and the server has been down, so I was finally able to get these uploaded. Here are the kids playing with Molly. She is about 4 months old. Lissie..
She loves to jump, and here she is with Brigs...
and chasing Alex.
Well we have been getting lots of snow. It sounds like everyone else is getting the cold weather too. It snowed 3 times the week this picture was taken. Crazy.

Oh and by the way, for those of you who were wondering, the dog is our neighbors dog. They let the kids play with her in the backyard for a bit.

A Little Reunion Family Night

The reason we got together at this time. It was great to see Ellen. She has been a great friend to me over my life, most especially during my teenage years. So it was great to see her.
The kids posing for pictures.
We had a fabulous dinner and then family night and then just chatted for a bit. Marianne, Naomi, Allistar, Bruce, Mark, Ellen. The Hilton family are also some friends from growing up. Marianne was one of my teachers at church for a couple of years. They have a great and cute family. I unfortunately wasn't able to capture all of the kids in photos.
Ellen doing pictures and setting up. Eleanore next to her.
These are the kids hanging out. Isabelle, Eleanore, Alex, Noami and Allistar.
These two had fun playing together, Lissie and Eleanore.
The men folk talking.
The kids played the piano for us. They are all pretty good. Naomi was fun to watch. She was very dramatic. Allistar is really good. Henry was there but he must have run off with my boys to play. Connor was there for a little bit. It was a great evening and fun to see everyone and hear about their lives. Good times...
