Memorial Day Weekend.

This past weekend was really fun. We had all of Mark's family come up and visit us. This is a picture of what Brigham got in his primary class. The lesson was on, I am thankful for my ears. What a clever teacher, eh?
This is on a ride to the Teton Dam. It actually broke when they were making it.
This is racing Lissie at the Dam.
Mark's family loves to do contests to see how tough they are! This was to see how many Wasabi nuts they could fit in their mouth.

At the dam the boys were just climbing on everything. The fence is there because there is a huge drop off right after it.
This is Lissie actually happy to be with Dad.
This is looking downstream from the dam.
Walking along.
This is almost everyone in the picture, minus 5. There were a total of 21 people here. It was really fun. We mostly relaxed and the kids jumped on the trampoline a ton. Now we are winding down and getting back on our regular scheduel.

Exciting weather!

Today the kids decided to fly the kites. All of a sudden it has been so cold and rainy. Which is good, because we do need rain. It was snowing a little. The kids were determined to fly kites, though.
Alex was the most determined of all.
I finally told them that I didn't want them getting sick so they concurred. If you notice both Brigham and Lizzie had to wear shorts today. Alex told me he had on warm clothes so I didn't need to worry about him getting sick. He came in anyways.
This is last week. It has been really warm. I was watering the lawn and the kids decided they wanted to go through the water. I thought it was too cold, but they certainly didn't think so. I even let them put on their swimsuits.
UUUHHH!!!
She went through it more than the boys did, I believe.

So that is that. We also inherited a big trampoline for outside last week that has given us hours of entertainment. The kids love it. Mark promised the kids that he would sleep with them out there, so on Friday night we all slept out there. Lizzie was fine until about four and then it was too cold for her so we went in. We have had an ultimate blast on it. All of you are welcome to come check it out if you'd like. It has a containment net around it so its safer. Good thing, because I think everytime the boys jump on it they end up landing in that net.
We also have been potty training Lizzie. She's been dry so far this week. I actually have her go every couple of hours. She'll only tell me at supper time and bed time or if we are at church. She was dry last night! Okay so I woke her up when we went to bed and had her go, but she was dry. Hopefully this lasts and goes well. She has also been sleeping through the nights! Finally. I think what happened is she got a cold and got a little more tired, and she has slept much better. Yippee.

ROOOAAAR!!!

So the kids have had this thing for turning on the water. I go outside and see them covering mud all over their arms. This is Brigham.
Here are the result of Lissie. She loves dirt and mud. She always seems to gravitate to it. I have even had her eat dirt. YUK!
The one who didn't play in the mud. He knew I didn't want him to. So here are the results of that.
This is Lizzies hair. This is what we did for Sunday. We put little bows on the end.
This is both our apple trees. You could here the bees pollinating the one with the most flowers. The flowers only lasted a week. Now there are only leaves.
The kids enjoying their glowsticks in the dark.
Marks birthday cake. Check out the mountain cake. He loves all things with mountains, hence the cake.
We planted flower seeds in these. Hopefully flowers will grow, if the gazillion robins in the area haven't eaten the seeds.
The kids diving down the stairs.
This is one of our two crabapple trees. They too have lost their flowers. You could also here the bees under this one. Now the flowers are gone, but our lilac trees are blooming now! So that is that.

Our Passings of the Week

These are some of the cousins on Aunt Julies bed.
The kids wanted to use some tape and they did this.

and this. Then Mark mowed the back lawn and let all the kids ride with him on it.

Joseph received his eagle. After the court of honor they had a birthday party for Mark and Mike. Notice the suits! To the left this is Julie. They blessed their baby and this is after.

Over on the left, this is Wellyn and the reason we came down (besides Joseph's eagle). He had on a cute white tux. You can only see part of it.
To the left is Sara, my neice. She is7 months old but the same height as Wellyn. This was a cute little dress.

This is a semi decent picture of me, since my dad wanted to see a picture of me.

Above is Lizzie and Addy playing together and this is Alex Brig Katelyn, Emily waiting for lunch.

Then above is Grandpa, say cheese, and Mike finishing up the salad. So that is our week. We had a fun time in Salt Lake. We were able to see Cris for a little bit on Saturday after he worked at the track meet. It was good to see him and talk to him. We also enjoyed talking with Marks family. The boys cried because it was time to go home. We had fun, but towards the end were a tad tired and it was time to head home. We were excited to meet Wellyn and see how the others had grown. We're grateful for all the hospitalities.

Fun Fun

This weeke has passed, nothing too exciting. Here is a picture of Alex. He got out of the tub this morning with this bottle on his finger. It had water in it. He got dressed with it on and we had to take a picture of it.
Here is a picture of the kids. Brigham went to the dentist for the first time today. They said his teeth were excellent. Here's his goodie bag from the dentist. They all just want to brush and floss their teeth after we go to the dentist about a million times. Brigham went to his new friend, Isaac's Dad.
Here's a picture of Lizzie at the dentist. Sunday was a fun day. The stake presidency did sharing time. Alex sand so loud to I know That My Redeemer Lives that he got all the boys in junior primary singing it when it was the boys turn to sing. When it was the girls turn to sing Brigham sang. The director said who was singing. Brigham said he was but no one heard. The next time it was time for the girls to sing again, Brigham talked. As she was talking to the girls about how well they sang, Brigham screams out, I was talking when they were singing. What a goof. Of course everyone laughed.
Saturday we went fishing again. Here is Alex and Mark.
Here is Brigham fishing. All he was interested in doing was realing in the line.
Here is Lizzie fishing.
Here is a big tree that fit everyone in when we were fishing. Mark is up there too. I was fishing a little bit.
Here I am racing with the kids at the fishing place.

Here is our inevitable superman.
Mark had a meeting. We were finishing up supper and Brigham used his broccoli and dipped it in the spaghetti sauce to make makeup.
Lissie wanted to copy Brigham.
Saturday we also fixed the sprinklers that were broken in the yard.
We did lots of yardwork on Satuday. We finished the bathroom up this week, except for the baseboard. We'll do pictures later.
The boys wanted to do a trick.

That is our week. It has been an okay week. We hope that all of yours were great as well.
