Well we had an exciting at least end of the weekend. Mark went to San Rafael (Not CA, but redrock country in southern Utah) with the boyscouts from Thursday to Saturday. We had a lot of fun. Well at least a little. We ate outside for all our dinners, and had a sleepover. The first night it was in the family room. IT took a while for the kids to fall asleep but they finally did. Friday it was in Lizzies room. We went on a walk Friday night around our neighborhood. We then colored easter eggs. The above picture is of when we were waiting for Mark to get home on Saurday evening. THey had fun with stickers!

This is where we had the kids look for easter eggs we hid in our back yard. Digs.

THe kids and I went to an easter egg hunt they had at one of the parks by our house. There were about 4000 kids. Its the biggest one in Eastern Idaho I believe. Well we got their 10 minutes early, but the eggs were gone. I guess the parents and the kids couldn't contain themselves. My kids were a bit disapointed, but I don't know if I was after I saw how crowded it was and that I was the only parent. Maybe a blessing in disguise. Well we stood in line for about 20 mins to see the Easter Bunny. A saving grace for the kids. They also got 2 eggs. Lissie wouldn't turn around so I could get a picture of her face. She had to see where the bunny was at all times. However, when we left she waived and said bye bye.

This is our Jelly bean huing we had. Mark helped me hide these with the kids.

This is Lissie as we wait in line to see the Easter Bunny.

This is of our easter egg hunt.

This is playing on the playground after seeing the easter bunny. Alex and Brigham are catching Lizzie as she goes down the slide so she won't get hurt.

Well the Easter Bunny made up for the candy they didn't get the day before. Showing off their baskets.

Brigham waiting to see the EB. Note the spiked hair. the boys have asked me to do this a few times. Especially Brigham
And that is how it went. After church and dinner we drove through Palasades. IT is beautiful. Parts of it reminded me of Greene. It was a good day. CHurch was good and my class was hyper from Easter and hearing the same thing over and over. Marks class was all bushed because of their trip. Mark wore them out!!! THey were amazed at how much energy he had for the trip.
So fun. Now onto the week before us.

I'm gald that you guys do easter baskets and a jelly bean AND easter egg hunt. I thought we were the only ones...kind of fun to blend all the traditions together...our friends have started doing a jelly bean hunt instead of an egg hunt...then that's all the candy they get for easter (sad I know!) Looks like the kids had fun! I don't even attempt large scale activities like that were my kids will be disappointed...I HATE fighting crowds.
Is that Nicole saying she's not a partyer?!
Crowds and children - hmmmmm
Very fun! It looks like a good time was had by all! :O)
