We received a call out of the blue from Mark's brother, Mike. He was up in the area doing some work. He was with his boss, so he didn't have a lot of time to hang out, but Mark and Mike decided we'd meet up at Big Judds for some eating fun. The kids were so excited to see Mike.

Here is the last bite of that big hamburger. Mike was able to eat it all, plus some fries and a cone. He said he was feeling a little sick. That night Alex threw up and I thought it was food poisoning and I told Mark I'm not going there again. (It was the worst I've ever cleaned up and I almost lost it myself, and I have a strong stomache). BUT then the other kids were sick within the next few days, so it wasn't food poisoning. (Much to Mark's relief).

So I've been noticing also that Taylors hair is getting longer and theback was starting to be a little hairy(hee hee), though this pic doesn't really show it. You can see the hair on one of his ears. I decided I was going to cut it.

Here are the results. It looks good, but he looks more like a little boy. I must admit, too that I don't like the longish hair on baby boys. I think I cut all the boys hair around this time.

This is supper from last night. Chicken pot pie. One of Mark's favorite. I gave him a call and let him know. He was happy. Mine always come out like this, but its pretty good.

APRIL FOOLS! It was actually a dessert. Hee Hee.

Yummy! The kids and Mark loved this kind of dinner. (I actually had some pizza made too...I couldn't just let them have this).

This is how I made it. I made a crust and baked it. (I found this idea in the Family Fun Mag). Then I bought some candy. (flavored tootsie rolls and starburst). I cut the yellow candies and shaped them into corn, the green candies cut and shaped into peas, the orange candies were cut and shaped into carrots, and the white candies into chicken. Then I cut a banana to look like potatoes. Next was to stir up a batch of vanilla pudding. I put the pudding in the crust and added the vegies and chicken and mixed it in and then put the top crust on. Mark had no idea until the kids said, Mom you put the candy in the pie. It was so fun and I have been wanting to do this for a very long time!
One funny story too (If you don't mind). Yesterday I was talking to Brigham about his dream the night before. He had screamed out in his sleep, but never woke up. He proceeded to tell me about the dream, which of course the details have escaped me. But Man is it fun to watch Brigham tell a story. THen he said Mom I didn't say a prayer because I wanted to see how the dream ended. Silly kid. (we've been trying to teach them how to not feel scared at nights especially after bad dreams.)

Cute! We miss you guys.
Where do you find time to do fun things like that? I barely have time to make insant pudding. I am so amazed! Kudos to you. Your children have a better mother than my children. And as for the mystery "US" people-- I am glad to know that it is you.
I ate at Big Judds... big burger eaten, photo taken... Never saw it on the wall though.
