Fun Fun

This weeke has passed, nothing too exciting. Here is a picture of Alex. He got out of the tub this morning with this bottle on his finger. It had water in it. He got dressed with it on and we had to take a picture of it.
Here is a picture of the kids. Brigham went to the dentist for the first time today. They said his teeth were excellent. Here's his goodie bag from the dentist. They all just want to brush and floss their teeth after we go to the dentist about a million times. Brigham went to his new friend, Isaac's Dad.
Here's a picture of Lizzie at the dentist. Sunday was a fun day. The stake presidency did sharing time. Alex sand so loud to I know That My Redeemer Lives that he got all the boys in junior primary singing it when it was the boys turn to sing. When it was the girls turn to sing Brigham sang. The director said who was singing. Brigham said he was but no one heard. The next time it was time for the girls to sing again, Brigham talked. As she was talking to the girls about how well they sang, Brigham screams out, I was talking when they were singing. What a goof. Of course everyone laughed.
Saturday we went fishing again. Here is Alex and Mark.
Here is Brigham fishing. All he was interested in doing was realing in the line.
Here is Lizzie fishing.
Here is a big tree that fit everyone in when we were fishing. Mark is up there too. I was fishing a little bit.
Here I am racing with the kids at the fishing place.

Here is our inevitable superman.
Mark had a meeting. We were finishing up supper and Brigham used his broccoli and dipped it in the spaghetti sauce to make makeup.
Lissie wanted to copy Brigham.
Saturday we also fixed the sprinklers that were broken in the yard.
We did lots of yardwork on Satuday. We finished the bathroom up this week, except for the baseboard. We'll do pictures later.
The boys wanted to do a trick.

That is our week. It has been an okay week. We hope that all of yours were great as well.

Our little Journey

WE started another little project, the other bathroom. We had the kids help us paint, well the first coat on one wall. Our walls are so old we have to paint 2 times to make it work out. Lizzie lasted about 2 mins before she put the paintbrush in her mouth. I was taking off my sweater and to be honest I didn't think that she'd put it in her mouth. She said, Mommy Yuk. I ran her into the other room and wiped out all the paint in her mouth with a cloth, then immediately called poison control center. She luckily didn't swallow much and we just diluted it with lots of drinks. Phew. That was scarey. At one point Lizzie started screaming because Mark wouldn't let her go back in the room, the lady on the phone asked if she was okay. I explained yes, and my husband was keeping her out of the paint room. Brigham lasted briefly, but Alex loved doing it and often times you could see him copying dad in his moves. It was cute.
I took some pictures of Lizzie doing her balet video. Here is one of them. They are all pretty cute. There are some where she is making faces as they dance happy, mad, sad, etc. She just loves doing it. Its pretty cute.
This is for Renee. Lizzie got jawbreaker all over her face from the jawbreaker that Renee gave her. She has had worse, but I thought I'd capture this for her.

Mark's boss just had some baby chicks born. He invited us over to see them. This is Alex holding them. They were cute and only a day old!
Lizzie did get to hold one, but it was a bad picture of it. SHe may have held it a little tight because it chirped a bit louder.
Here is Brigham holding the bird. cute .
Brigham trying on Dad's shorts.
The boys were putting on shorts the other day. Lizzie wanted to be just like them. SHe came running out from the back into the living room where I was with these on. She put on Dad's shorts.

Its fun to be in primary with the boys. I teach Brigham's class, which he actually loves having me as a teacher. Its probably because he has me without competing with the other kids. Alex sits right behind me for sharing time. We were learning a primary song for mother's day. The singing lady said, your moms will be so happy that they may even cry. The boys kept saying mom this is for you. When we were done singing the song, Alex said, Mom you're not crying.
What a fickle boy. Last week when we spoke in church he was mad at me and wouldn't talk to me because I cried a little in my talk.
Oh yeah, during singing time in primary, Brigham towards the end said, I'm done This is stupid. He had been trying to sing so hard and sing all the words, which is a first for him. But it did get a little long. Alex belts out every word he knows, and remembers them pretty well.

Adventures of the Week

Well this is some of the exciting things that happened this week to us. Alex loves to climb everything. He climbs up the closet door to try to get the playdough or whatever other toy he wants.
Here is alex being a rockclimber on his bed with the jumb rope he got from the closet, I believe.
Friday we went fishing. Brigham was content just throwing rocks or logs into the water as seen here. It was quite the adventure. We bought 3 poles. 2 broke. and we caught nothing. However just down the river a guy caught a 19" Brown German(trout?). Maybe it was because of all the throwing in the water.
Lizzie just playing around as we fish.
Alex was the only one who really wanted to fish.

Here the kids are all throwing rocks into the river.

Mark attaching the worm.
On Sunday Mark and I spoke in church. I also taught primary. Most of these were done, just doing the final touches. We were finishing up final preps and cleaning up from breakfast and I was getting ready. It was a hectic morning. Lizzie went and found her makeup and I told her to have Dad help her (knowing he would probably take it away). Well she didn't and I hear mark say, oh no guys, what are you doing? Well I run in and the boys are helping her put on the makeup. They were saying. We were just trying to help her. She wanted makeup on just like mom. Well this above picture is the result of that.
Here is a picture of Brigham from Saturday. I told him to put on his clean underwear, and this is what he did.

I thought this picture was a great description of something my kids like to do. They make a noise, and then we ask them nicely to stop and then they change it to a different noise and so forth. I thought this was pretty funny

Our Past Week/ Easter

Well we had an exciting at least end of the weekend. Mark went to San Rafael (Not CA, but redrock country in southern Utah) with the boyscouts from Thursday to Saturday. We had a lot of fun. Well at least a little. We ate outside for all our dinners, and had a sleepover. The first night it was in the family room. IT took a while for the kids to fall asleep but they finally did. Friday it was in Lizzies room. We went on a walk Friday night around our neighborhood. We then colored easter eggs. The above picture is of when we were waiting for Mark to get home on Saurday evening. THey had fun with stickers!
This is where we had the kids look for easter eggs we hid in our back yard. Digs.

THe kids and I went to an easter egg hunt they had at one of the parks by our house. There were about 4000 kids. Its the biggest one in Eastern Idaho I believe. Well we got their 10 minutes early, but the eggs were gone. I guess the parents and the kids couldn't contain themselves. My kids were a bit disapointed, but I don't know if I was after I saw how crowded it was and that I was the only parent. Maybe a blessing in disguise. Well we stood in line for about 20 mins to see the Easter Bunny. A saving grace for the kids. They also got 2 eggs. Lissie wouldn't turn around so I could get a picture of her face. She had to see where the bunny was at all times. However, when we left she waived and said bye bye.
This is our Jelly bean huing we had. Mark helped me hide these with the kids.
This is Lissie as we wait in line to see the Easter Bunny.
This is of our easter egg hunt.

This is playing on the playground after seeing the easter bunny. Alex and Brigham are catching Lizzie as she goes down the slide so she won't get hurt.
This is Alex waiting in line to see the Easter Bunny
Alex finding easter eggs in our backyard
Well the Easter Bunny made up for the candy they didn't get the day before. Showing off their baskets.
Brigham waiting to see the EB. Note the spiked hair. the boys have asked me to do this a few times. Especially Brigham

And that is how it went. After church and dinner we drove through Palasades. IT is beautiful. Parts of it reminded me of Greene. It was a good day. CHurch was good and my class was hyper from Easter and hearing the same thing over and over. Marks class was all bushed because of their trip. Mark wore them out!!! THey were amazed at how much energy he had for the trip.
So fun. Now onto the week before us.

Thanks to the grandparents

Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying their presents from Grandma and Grandpa. They had a lot of fun doing this. That night I went to the temple. I got all dressed up. Lizzie had to change into a skirt and so forth. I kept telling her she couldn't come with me, but she tried anyways. She got her purse and said to me, now I can go to the temple mom. I told her she could go with me another time. It was cute. But she had her purse just like mom!

Harlem Globe Trotters!

We received 4 free tickets to the Harlem Globe Trotters. It was really fun. However, we did have to leave a little before 1/2 time because it got boring for the kids and they were going crazy. They did enjoy the beginning. It was really fun.

Haircuts

Well last week was haircutting time for at least the boys. They were starting to look a little shabby, so here's the results. We trimmed Lizzie's hair, but not much different for obvious reasons. I also cut my own hair and it came out okay. I wanted Mark to cut it but he was too nervous I'd hate it, so I did it myself. I tried to get a picture but they looked horrible. I'll have to catch Mark to get it done.
